Areas of Focus
Outreach/Community
A. We will work and serve in our communities so that our work will be a blessing to all people.
B. Continue “Sharing God’s Harvest” through the Food and Clothing Give-A-Way the third Saturday of each month.
C. Continue to grow and glow in the community.
Health/ Health Fair & Health Series with Shands Eastside Clinic
A. Help to identify early physical intervention and prevention measures to assist in and improve healthcare for all.
B. Help others to understand that managing emotional and mental health is just as important as managing physical health.
Education (School Volunteer, Big Mac, Mentoring, Take Stock In Children)
A. Encourage children to play outdoors, ride bicycles, engage in physical non-violent activities and trying to do their best in school at all times.
B. Working to mentor/tutor children inside and outside of school.
C. Taking stock in our children by helping them to understand that in order for them to do their best they must try and be the best at whatever they by the Holy Spirit, the WMS is challenged to help one another engage in ministry and action, grow and respond in faith to God’s redemptive plan for the church, the society and the world.
